Service: Recall Investigation

Objectives/background:

  • We were asked to visit a random selection of 100 convenience stores in the UK to search for a specific batch of canned beverages that had been recalled; we found the product in 5 stores and the shop managers were not aware of the issue.

 

  • We visited a selection of convenience stores to search for a particular shelf-stable snack product that had been recalled due to Sudan 1 contamination. The product was found in approximately 30% of stores visited.
