RQA's field representative network can be mobilised to withdraw products from retail shelves when there is a quality or safety issue within specific batches of products. RQA would assign stores to specific representatives based upon proximity to the stores in question. The representatives would then be given detailed instructions of what they should do in store,. Throughout the process representatives would feedback findings to the RQA office and updates would be provided to the client on a daily basis. These projects can range in size from visiting just a few stores up to visiting several thousand.
This service would apply to smaller retail chains rather than the major retailers who have their own systems for removing products from shelves.
