To ensure that a recall has been effective, our team of field representatives can rapidly visit retail outlets in a specific area, or perhaps across a selection of regions or countries, and check that products have been successfully removed from sale after a recall campaign has been initiated.
If recalled products are still present on the shelf, we will remove them. As a manufacturer you may be liable if a recalled product is sold to a customer; even after you have started a recall. A positive result allows you to demonstrate to your management team and the authorities that your recall has been effective at store level. A negative result suggests that you may need to repeat the recall procedure.
This service is typically used by RQA clients to visit smaller convenience stores as these commonly do not receive notifications about national recalls.
