RASFF Europa (Food) – The Europa site is the site to visit if you require the very latest list of all the European food alerts (RASFF) that are published on a week by week basis - including both alert and informational notices.
RAPEX Europa (Non Food) – This lists European recall alert information for non-food consumer products - RAPEX, updated weekly. It is also useful as unlike the RASFF system, RAPEX also includes pictures of affected products.
UK Food Standards Agency – This easy to navigate and well presented website provides up to date recall notifications of the most significant UK food recall alerts. It also contains a useful news section where you can find out about developments and issues currently affecting the food industry.
UK Trading Standards – This is a another site which provides a compendium of all the latest food as well as non food recalls in the UK, with brief descriptions of each. It is a functional site, and while basic, is easy to understand and get the information you require.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration - Search US recalls, market withdrawals and safety alerts by brand, product or company
US Consumer Product Safety Commision (CPSC) – This is a site which can be used to search and filter through all recall alerts in the US, both food and non food.
Canadian Food Inspection Agency - This site lists food recalls and allergy alerts. There is a search engine available to search on key words.
Health Canada - A searchable database of consumer product recalls dating back to 1995.
Australian recall alerts – This site provides alert information on all recalls throughout Australia including food and non-food products.
