3. BS25999 Business Continuity Management

You may be looking to implement BS 25999 as part of an internal initiative or as a customer requirement. RQA can assist you throughout the process.

Planning Meeting

An RQA consultant will meet with the person responsible for BCM and discuss your current status, existing procedures and business structure. The consultant will also outline the process for developing a BCM plan that is consistent with business needs and compliant with BS 25999. Following on from that meeting, the consultant will put together a plan with action points, tasks and timelines for developing the BCM.

Development of BCM procedures

RQA will work with you to develop appropriate systems and protocols that are required in your BCM procedures. Items covered will include putting in systems for business impact analysis and developing the risk profile. The consultant will also help to prepare an internal auditing schedule and a timetable for testing and training.
