Training

The objectives of the training are two-fold. Firstly to highlight the importance of crisis management and BCM to those involved and secondly to ensure the delegates fully understand their own procedures.

RQA offers the following courses; all of which are customised to fit the specific needs of your business:

Immediate response training

A half day training session can be provided to support the immediate response procedures (see earlier) including case studies and a simulation involving the "emergency services".

BS 25999 awareness training

This standard has only become available at the end of 2007. It does not prescribe that all BCM plans should be the same. Clearly a significant element of this is taking the right approach for your own company. This course will provide details of BS 25999 and describe ways in which BCM plans can be developed in compliance with this standard.

Crisis Management

RQA's crisis management course covers various aspects of crisis management including examples of real crises and how they were managed. A significant part of the course is to train the delegates on the company's own crisis and BCM procedures. The training is supported by a series of case studies and a small simulated crisis.

Crisis Media

The crisis media training course is run by professional journalists who have extensive experience in crisis media. IT covers understanding the media mentality, customized case studies, successful media engagement and much more including "studio" or "factory gate" interviews recorded onto DVD to take away.
